Continuing Education Workshop for Massage Therapists in Saskatoon​​

​​This one day workshop is designed to provide massage therapists with useful and actionable information related to whole person health. Embracing a whole person health approach is an opportunity to provide people with individualized care which may include a variety of techniques (e.g. massage, neural mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) as part of a multi-dimensional approach to support musculoskeletal health. Course participants can expect to come out of the workshop with a working knowledge of:

  • Whole Person Health - The concept of whole person health as it relates to sport-related injury and pain.

  • Adaptive Manual Therapy - A hybrid approach to manual therapy incorporating a variety of techniques (e.g. massage, neural mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) to improve the adaptability of the nervous system and soft tissue structures.

  • Effective Self-Management Strategies - An evidence-based approach to fostering resilience and improving treatment outcomes through effective self-management strategies.

This course will be hosted at the office of the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (1738 Quebec Ave #22, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9).

Who is The Course Instructor?

Richard Lebert has worked at The Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic in London Ontario as a Registered Massage Therapist. In addition to his Diploma from Lambton College, Richard has certification in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Richard is the developer of The RMT Education Project, an evidence-based resource for massage therapists.
